Life Divine is a licensed Financial Services Provider (FSP) and Life Insurer operating through Different Life PreCell™ and Old Mutual Alternative Risk Transfer (OMART)
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
The use of the Life Divine website (“our website”) and the communication tools available on our website is subject to you accepting and complying with these terms and conditions. By making use of our website and communication tools, you agree and accept these terms and conditions.
2. INFORMATION AND DISCLAIMERS
2.1 Information Purpose
Without limiting the generality of the aforesaid, the information provided on this website is intended to provide you, the user, with objective information about Life Divine’s funeral and life insurance products and services. The information is not intended to constitute a recommendation, guidance or proposal in regard to the suitability of any product in respect of any financial need you may have.
2.2 Calculations and Tools
Calculations made/obtained by means of calculators, planning tools or other facilities made available on this website are for illustrative purposes only and, unless the contrary is specifically stated, are subject to written confirmation by Life Divine at the time of concluding a transaction.
2.3 Product Values and Cover Amounts
Any product values provided for your funeral and life insurance products and cover amounts are subject to the terms and conditions of the specific product. Because of transactions you have requested that have not been completed (for example beneficiary updates, premium payments in progress) or administrative processes that entail a cover increase, the values may not be accurate at the time of your viewing. You must verify any value or cover amount with Life Divine or ensure you understand the effective date of changes as contained in our communication where we notified you of the changes before relying on such value or cover amount.
2.4 Divine Mobile Integration
For customers with embedded funeral cover through Divine Mobile, cover is conditional on maintaining the minimum mobile spend requirements (R50 monthly recharge or monthly data purchase of any amount, SIM usage as primary contact, and SIM registered in own name). Failure to meet these requirements may result in suspension or termination of cover.
3. WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY
3.1 No Warranties
While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of information contained on this website, Life Divine and its directors, officers and employees provide no representation or warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness or correctness of information contained in this website and in particular in no way warrants that this website, the content provided or information contained therein will be error-free or that it will meet any particular criteria of accuracy, completeness or reliability of information, performance or quality.
3.2 Limitation of Liability
Life Divine and its directors, officers and employees shall not be responsible and disclaims any liability for, any loss, damage (whether direct, indirect, special or consequential) and/or expense of any nature whatsoever, which may be suffered as a result of or which may be attributable, directly or indirectly, to the use of, or reliance upon any information, links or service provided through this website.

6. PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
6.1 Product Scope
Life Divine offers funeral cover and life insurance products only. Our product range includes:
R10,000 Embedded Funeral Cover (for Divine Mobile customers)
Enhanced Family Funeral Cover (up to R100,000 main life, family coverage available)
Fully Underwritten Life Cover (up to R5,000,000)
6.2 Eligibility Requirements
Embedded funeral cover is available exclusively to Divine Mobile customers who meet specific usage requirements. Enhanced funeral cover and life insurance products are subject to acceptance criteria and underwriting processes.
6.3 Waiting Periods
Embedded funeral cover is subject to a 3-month waiting period from SIM activation. Other products may have 6-month periods, or as specified in the product terms and conditions.
7. CUSTOMER PORTAL AND SELF-SERVICE
7.1 Portal Access
Access to the customer portal requires registration and is subject to verification processes. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
7.2 Information Accuracy
You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided through the customer portal, including beneficiary details and contact information, is accurate and up to date.
8. CLAIMS PROCESS
Claims must be submitted through the designated channels (claims@lifedivine.co.za or through the customer portal) with all required documentation. Claims are subject to the terms and conditions of the specific product and our claims assessment procedures.
9. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
Life Divine is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws. By using our website, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
10. INTEGRATION WITH THIRD PARTIES
10.1 Divine Mobile Integration
Our embedded funeral product is integrated with Divine Mobile services. Changes to your Divine Mobile account may affect your funeral cover eligibility.
10.2 Technology Partners
Our website and services are powered by various technology partners including DTech LifeStack™ platform. While we maintain oversight of these services, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
11. CHURCH PARTNERSHIPS
Life Divine maintains partnerships with various churches including the Twelve Apostles Church of Christ. These partnerships facilitate distribution and community engagement but do not alter the terms and conditions of our insurance products.
12. GENERAL PROVISIONS
12.1 No Investment Advice
Nothing contained on our website constitutes a solicitation, recommendation, endorsement or offer by Life Divine, including in regard to buying, selling or holding any securities or investments, but shall merely be considered as an invitation to do business.
12.2 Regulatory Compliance
Life Divine operates under the regulatory oversight of relevant South African financial services authorities and maintains all required licenses and registrations.
12.3 Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by South African law, and any disputes arising will be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
